Why Use Boat Vents?
Keeping the interior of the boat dry when not in use is an essential part of boat maintenance; it also keeps the boat owner happy. Proper venting of the boat interior keeps it free of mildew, mold, and bacteria. Reducing heat and removing the moist air will also help prevent discoloration of upholstery and carpet, helping to keep the interior looking and smelling new for years to come.
Venting also helps increase the life of the mooring cover. The underside of the cover has been treated to help with the waterproofing. Removing the heat and moisture from the interior of the boat helps keep that treatment in its original condition which helps maintain the cover’s ability to remain waterproof.
Boat Vent II
Boat Vent II is fast and easy to install and can be added to virtually any custom or semi custom cover. Just follow the included instructions and use the supplied template to quickly and easily install the vent in your cover. Boat Vent II is made of the best UV inhibited plastic to ensure a long trouble free life and is available in the standard or over the seam model to cover any position on the cover.
Adjust a Vent
Adjust-a-vent will exhaust warm moist air the same as our Boat Vent II with the added convenience of allowing you to raise and lower your boat cover from outside your boat. This eliminates the need for crawling underneath your cover every time you need to adjust your covers tension. To ensure a long and trouble free life the hardware is made of stainless steel components.
Over time, all canvas will stretch, or sometimes shrink depending on the material. If your cover’s support pole isn’t readjusted in time it will damage your expensive boat cover by either pooling heavy water or by becoming so tight that it stretches your cover and ruins the waterproof coating. It is a major advantage to be able to easily tighten or loosen the tension of your boat cover without unsnapping it and crawling inside to readjust your poles. This vent is fast and easy to install, and it is perfect for all types of covers.

Why Support Your Cover?
All covers should be properly tented to allow for rain and snow to run off easily. Your mooring pole plays a key role in protecting the interior of your boat from damaging outdoor elements. If your cover is not adjusted with proper tension it will allow pools of water to collect on the cover. This condition will also destroy the waterproofing properties of breathable canvas. When this happens your boat interior will most likely develop mold, mildew, fungus and bacteria.
New Cam locking Support Poles
Our new telescoping cam lock support poles have been tested to hold up to 170 lbs . That’s over twice the weight of standard thumbscrew mooring poles. They have a die cast collar and stainless steel components. The aluminum tubing is anodized, heat treated, and has a ribbed profile for increased strength and lightweight. You may choose from one of 3 tip options, (snap, swedge, or plug.) We use fully synthetic TPR rubber grey bottom crutch tips that will not scuff or mar your boats flooring. Our poles are available in four different lengths to accommodate all types of boats.

Why Use Tie Downs?
One of the most important parts of your boat cover system is properly tying it down. Doing so will prevent your cover from ballooning, whipping, tearing, or coming off while driving. When a cover is properly tied down it pulls the canvas tight around the edges so there is no chance for the cover to move around and shift its position. A good tight canvas also ensures a good weatherproof seal which helps keep the interior of your boat dry and in like new condition.
Quick-Tie Micro 1/8” Ratchet
Our quick-tie micro 1/8" ratchet fits all 1/8” rope. This newly designed micro ratchet is lightweight, durable and extremely tough. To use, just tug on the rope until it is tight, and tie off the remaining rope. To release, pull on the rope the same as when tightening it and release the trigger lock. This is the quickest and easiest way to tie down your cover. These ratchets are made specifically for outdoor marine use.

Canvas Hole Cutter
Our circle cutter makes installing boat vents fast and easy. Just place it on the canvas wherever you have chosen to position your vent(s) and rotate the handle clockwise (to the right) one complete revolution. It will cut a perfect hole every time. Using our circle cutter can help prevent costly mistakes that may occur from using scissors to cut around traced holes. Our cutters are die-cast with a durable powder coat finish. Each blade can cut up to 2500 times without dulling and can be quickly and easily replaced*
